The GT-1 has 3 rotary dials, an array of 10 soft-touch rubberized buttons, and 3 stomp buttons. The rubberized buttons effectively work as your signal chain. Starting from left to right, it begins with an FX/Compressor selector button, then Overdrive-type FX, and finally the preamp selector, which allows you to select from a number of famous models. The next button covers your modulation FX, then there’s a button for delay FX and one for reverb. This layout is very logical, putting the FX that need the cleanest signal at the start of the chain. The arbitration panel shall have exclusive authority to resolve any arbitrability issues including any dispute over this EULA or this arbitration provision’s scope, application, meaning and enforceability. The arbitration panel shall be empowered to grant whatever relief would be available in court, including without limitation preliminary relief, injunctive relief and specific performance. Any award of the arbitration panel shall be final and binding immediately when rendered, and judgment on the award may be entered in any court of competent jurisdiction. If any portion of this arbitration agreement is found unenforceable, the unenforceable portion shall be severed and the remaining arbitration terms shall be enforced (but in no event will there be a class arbitration).

This End User License Agreement (“EULA”) is between the individual consumer or business entity that will use the Software (“You”) and Roland Corporation (“Roland”). Roland reserves the right to terminate this License Agreement if you fail to comply with any of the terms of this License Agreement. Assign this EULA, or any right or obligation under this EULA, or delegate any performance, without Roland’s prior written consent, unless You are transferring the Software in accordance with the Transferability Section 3 below. In no event shall Roland Corporation be liable to end-users for any damages whatsoever, including but not limited to financial damages for any loss of profits or information arising from the use of, or inability to use this updater. The foregoing provision is effective even if Roland Corporation has been advised of the possibility of such damages. As with all massive preset collections, these aren’t all extraordinary. The seemingly straightforward “Mid Boost Combo” (preset 22) can sound like a muffled Twin Reverb if you’re not careful. And corrective adjustments aren’t always super easy. I managed to clear up the Mid Boost Combo preset, but I had to navigate the small LCD screen using the streamlined button function. That’s great when the preset is ideal right out of the gate. It’s less than satisfying when you have to negotiate the impressively vast array of tone tweaking options. Of course, a more accessible set of surface-mounted parameter controls would mean a less compact unit. It’s important to know that the trade-off for a compact unit is making sure your presets are tweaked to satisfaction before you take the stage.
